Animals need society for protection and we need animals for our survival in a thriving environment. With awareness around the human to animal interconnection our attention turns to see how other species are relevant inter-dependent organisms, which must be sustained for life to continue.

GLAMOURIE full videoGLAMOURIE is a Scottish term that references the power of illusion. To "cast a glamour" is to change the appearance of reality over the senses. In this exhibition both installation and costumery have been invented to put a pantheon of character and deception under the spotlight. The Domesticity of home and the vessel of Travel coexist simultaneously, object and space are collapsed Into an unending present. This vessel has no trajectory and the viewer therefore is left to explore the relationship between lightness and darkness, foreboding and comfort and the power of phantasm with self. What is power?, what authority governs us? Who in us is running our show? We are masters of self-deception, we invent ourselves continuously in order to relish possibility, to push our freedom, so what brings us back to practicality/necessity and truth?
