Art, for me, is a way of rehearsing other ways of being in the world.

I make matter at edges.

Between skin and cloth.
Between the body and the environment.
Between the human and the more-than-human.

My practice moves through adornment, drawing, installation, and avatar creation, perhaps forms that act like speculative skins. Cloth becomes shelter, membrane, and witness. A dress may hold grief. A textile or object may become a landscape. A figure may appear not as a person, but as an idea thinking itself into form.

I work anti-disciplinarily because the questions I follow do not belong to a single medium. They move like currents between design, personal mythology, ‘environment’, and technology.

I am drawn to the radical spirit of artists who treated art as an open experiment, The Dadaists, Surrealists, Fluxus thinkers and to the romantic sublime, when forces larger than ourselves dissolve between certainty and wonder.

I plot, zip, circulate, map around my interests in linear and nonlinear ways.

Through garments, drawing, and environments, I imagine new bodies and new relationships, an inquiry to create spaces where difference, intersection, and coexistence of the ‘natural’ and ‘cultural’ can unfold.
